How to support local businesses like our book store in times like this.
Hi gang,
Scott here. It has been mentioned multiple times that people want to support us during this trying time. First of all, thank you. We know that it is difficult for everyone as we all make changes to our lives and lifestyles in light of this crisis. We feel your pain and thank you for understanding ours. The Book Rack has been in Anderson Township for more than 30 years and we hope to last at least that much longer!
Small businesses like ours can help fuel local economies. But for a lot of us, times are tough right now.
Wow, what a crazy busy week!
Hey gang,
Scott here.
So, yesterday was Independent Bookstore Day. Thanks to everyone who visited. It was the fifth overall and the first one we have participated in. Looking to do more exciting things like that in the future.
Independent Bookstore Day - April 27!
Hey gang! Scott here.
Hope everyone had a splendid Easter and/or Earth Day!
We did, and now we are getting ready for Independent Bookstore Day - next Saturday, April 27!
We will be offering several choices of free audiobooks through our Audiobook partner, Libro.FM. We will have a sidewalk clearance sale all day with Hardcover books for $2 each and paperback books for $1 (or less in some cases)!
Welcome to our little corner of cyberspace!
Hi. Scott here. This is the third iteration (hopefully the last) of a website for The Book Rack. We tried one that ended up being mostly static. Then we tried one that would allow us to list our inventory online, but it was NOT user friendly...for anyone! So we are trying this version out. What do you think? It will be a continual work in progress (anyone who knows me will not be surprised to learn this!) but hopefully it will be a warm and inviting place on the net where you can go and check out what we currently have in stock, what's going on
